New Pipe Yard
After several months delay caused by the unprecedented excessive moisture and flooding in southeast Saskatchewan, land preparation has begun on the new Baxter pipe yard east of Estevan. The late summer beautiful weather has enabled the contractor to make exceptional progress.

- Evelyn Revet on completing her apprenticeship training and attaining her Journeyman states as a certified Truck and Trailer Mechanic. She is also celebrates ten years with BBT
Rain! Rain!
Go Away An over abundance of rain and flooding in SE Saskatchewan has slowed the oilpatch to a crawl. Many Roads are impassable and cannot be navigated by the heavy trucks and equipment. There has not been a week since spring breakup without at least 2 to 3 inches of precipitation.
Bert Baxter Transport is in the process of building a new consolidated pipe yard east of Estevan. Needless to say the wet conditions have hindered progress as seen in this photo.

Gail Shirley is now back in Estevan after spending ten days in Alberta with the Red Cross providing assistance to the victims of the massive forest fire that devastated the town of Slave Lake.
